We would like to invite you, your family and friends to an exciting new venture in alongside our Manchester United Hub Officer.
Our aim is to offer a fun structure to physical activity in a new environment, and providing parents and carers with social opportunities, whilst increasing levels of physical activity and our overall mental health and wellbeing. As with our bodies, it is important that we also take care of our minds; exercise is one of the most effective ways to improve our mental health. Regular exercise can have a profoundly positive impact on depression, anxiety, and more. It also relieves stress, improves memory, helps you sleep better, and boosts overall mood. And you don’t have to be a fitness fanatic to reap the benefits!
On Monday 8th October 2018 at 9.30am we will be holding a Parent/Carer workshop to tell you more about Kingfisher to 5K, followed by a short walk and then back to Kingfisher for refreshments (healthy options of course).
Don’t worry you don’t need to be a fitness guru to join us! It’s about meeting new people, getting out in the fresh air and improving our wellbeing.
